Closed Sunday. Open every night till 9:00 pm This little gem in Camp Verde has really wonderful barbecue and it's served up with homemade biscuits, crisp French fries and slaw! Yummy!

I had a BLT burger on sourdough....YUM! Great prices, EXCELLENT waitress, and very cool inside, which seems to be a big problem w/restaurants around here. I will def. be back.

I was hoping this place would be amazing but I was wasn't overly impressed. It wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't great. Had the beef brisket ($15). Came with a salad, biscuit(homemade, it was really good), baked potato and ranch beans (a good amount of food) but the brisket was super thin, almost like deli meat thin, and came in a pile. I was hoping more for a legit slice or two of brisket like most BBQ places serve. But, on the bright side, the service was great and waitress was very sweet. I don't think I will be back, or at least not make a special trip for the food.

Very good! Husband and I got the brisket. Large portion. Catered to husband food allergies doubled checking the recipe. Best service! One waitress full dining room and she handled it like a true pro. Not one drink went unfilled she was awesome! Would come back for the friendly service that is not always the case in some restaurants.

They don't know the difference between a ribeye and a new york steak. Been coming here for years and although it's sufficient for our little city when compared to a real attempt this place really stinks. Chewy low grade cuts. The cooks really do try hard but they can't put lipstick on a pig. Give these guys a real quality cut of meat and they might just do ok. But when you buy the lowest grades you get reviews like this. Service when eating in isn't terrible, less you count the time employees wanted to close an hour early and stopped us at the door while walking in to eat. Had to convince them to stay open as we and another small group were walking in. They were upset. Had enough. This past Friday we ordered pickup to go. Got home and realized my order for a ribeye somehow turned into a new York tire straight off a delivery truck. Needed a chain saw to finish that thing. No thanks gang, I'm out.

Just stopped in for a quick lunch. Very disappointed. My sandwich looked nothing like the bountiful-spilling over with meat sandwich photos posted here. Small bun from any cheap grocery bread isle and not much meat. I asked for beans for my side, i guess they don't serve BBQ baked beans?? What i got were some cooked beans in water? Not very noteworthy. Also NO BBQ sauce sitting on the tables, which is kinda lame for a BBQ place. Small BBQ beef sandwich, French fries and coke for $13. With tip at least $15 for basically a 6 dollar meal. Don't even bother.

50 bucks for 2 burgers and a salad. The waitress didn't even ask how we wanted them cooked. Normal for a lot of places, but a barbecue joint? Bad form. The burgers were quite small, overdone, and very dry. Not remotely worth the price, and shoddy service. She nearly got my drink order wrong, at least she said it aloud so that I could correct the error. One of my dining companions didn't get what they asked for however. If you chance to visit this place, be sure to insist that they write your order down.

Our meals where unique in that they were both overcooked AND cold. The overall flavor of my bbq plate was good thanks mainly to the sauce, but the ribs were dry to the point of almost inedible. The brisket and pork also needed lots of sauce due to dryness. My boyfriend's medium rare steak was medium well at best. At $20/plate I was expecting more. The service was good, though, and the staff was very friendly.

Used them for my wedding reception last October in Cottonwood. Loved the food & received many compliments from my guests. Easy to work with and helpful throughout the planning process. I would recommend them for anyone else wanting BBQ for any sort of big gathering.

We stopped in our our way back from the Rim. BBQ sandwich with fries and a nice cold, juicy slice of watermelon hit the spot on a 100+ degree day. BBQ has great flavor as expected and is being smoked outside right next to us. (We ate outside with our dog on a covered patio.). Also ordered a grilled cheese with chilies---quite delicious! Would stop in again!

Well, I wasn't sure I'd like this but it was pretty good. We got a full rack of ribs. It came with fries and salad and a biscuit. OK, now for bad stuff. Although the ribs were meaty and smoky and thick, I felt they needed to cook a bit longer. They were really greasy and just a small amount of toughness still there. Because I got them to go and ask for the sauce on the side, I was disappointed that they forgot to pack the sauce. All in all, I would definitely go back the food was good and the price was too,

Really enjoyed the place, stopped on a whim from Montezumas Castle. The BBQ pork was awesome, smoked as all get out and the sauce was pretty good. The sauce could have gelled with the meat a tad more but I left there very content with everything including the friendly service. I will definitely stop there again.

We went to the Montezuma Castle while we were on vacation in Arizona, and leaving the castle we were pretty hungry. Leaving town, we passed this little BBQ place on the side of the road and decided that we had to stop, it smelled DELICIOUS. We go sit at the bar and got one of the combo meals to split. It is one of the very best BBQ places that we have ever been to! Delicious BBQ, very smoky flavor, the biscuits are homemade. Very flaky and buttery! They had a beer selection of about ten beers, only one that we enjoyed! The waitress who served us was wonderful and very nice!

A cute little place off the main drag, 4 miles directly s/of the casino. Great cornbread, decent salad, very good fries, but the pork ribs were nothing special. Too bad, a little seasoning would have made a huge difference. I might be back, but probably not. I wanted to like it better.

Food was good. Very quaint and country. Loved the crowd bitching about politics and the friendly waitress.

Really wish this were a decent place to eat, it just isn't though. Overpriced, first off. Ribs are good, but that's it and I have given this place 5 visits. I have a problem with a 'bbq' joint that isn't bbq'ing their own food. Perhaps they are, but there is no smell of bbq or smoke in the air, and the burger I had was certaily from a flat grilltop (just look in the window from outside). The pulled pork tastes nasty every time. Want sour cream on your baked potato? Ok, $1.00. I just hate that crap. Very nice people that work there and own the place, hate to hate, but everyone in my 4 person party felt awful after eating their dinner on our last visit. Nothing notable on anyones plate, most of the food didn't even get eaten as it tasted 'wrong'. If you must go, get the ribs I suppose.

Good BBQ Brisket for a good price. Worth the trip when you're on the way to the Grand Canyon or to Montezuma's Castle.

We had an excellent experience at Babe's. The drum was hot with coals, outside the bar. We were surprised with the portions and taste of the food. Waitress was excellent, sold us with her passion. $15 bucks for a huge steak, are you kidding me? She said it would be twelve ounces, must have been 14-16 oz. Tasty, tender and red, which is the way I like it. I did not even have to ask for glazed mushrooms and onions, and grilled sweet peppers, real nice. My son had some sweet pulled pork and beef bbq. He was full and he is a big Navy boy, so to fill him was a trick. Wife, who is tough on waitresses, as she worked the tables once herself, also liked her meal and the service. This ain't Gibsons or Mortons Steakhouse, but I told my son after he found this spot on his cellphone data, you picked a Winner. Four stars, and next time we drive home from hiking in Sedona, we ain't stopping at Outback in Phoenix, we stoppin here.

Really nice wait staff. It's a good place to eat if you're visiting Montezuma's castle. Portion sizes are huge. We got two dishes but could've easily split one.

Delicious! Had such a nice dinner here, everything was great, service so friendly and welcoming....I felt like I was a guest in someone's home. So personal and warm...nice atmosphere....food was delicious!

We really like this place!! We live in Dewey and drive to Camp Verde. It satisfies my need for brisket and my husbands need for a really good steak. I love the grilled brisket sandwich with pepperjack cheese. The filet steak is very tender and flavorful. Salad and sides are decent. Very friendly service!!

Loved the full rack of ribs. Sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the Smell of the roaster nearby while it did my ribs. Excellent favor and very tender. Potion was ample and provided for a great next day lunch.

Best ribs I've ever had. They were smoked right out front of the restaurant in their huge smoker. We found this place by luck and we were so glad. No joke, Awesome ribs. I've had ribs in Memphis, Kansas City, and Carolinas and these were the best I've ever had. Meat just fell off the bone. The other sides were good also. Portions were very good. Definitely worth the trip.
